- Registration & Payment
- How do I register for the conference? Please click the link on the main event webpage. Delegate badges will be provided on the day at Registration (in the Sports Centre)
- Payment must be made by credit card at the point of registration
- No refunds are possible after Friday 5th June 2026. Ticket sales end at 09.00 hrs on 1st July 2026.
- Can I transfer my ticket to someone else? As long as they have the same membership status and are working with the same school, this may be possible. Please email [email protected] for further advice.
- Conference Logistics
- Where and when does the event take place? Clifton College, Guthrie Road, Bristol BS8 3EZ. Friday 3rd July 2026.
- Will there be a conference app or schedule I can download? Please visit Sched for the digital programme
- Please wear comfortable clothing to maximise your professional learning on the day.
- Morning tea/coffee and lunch are included on the day. Lunch will comprise of a finger buffet and fruit.
- Bathroom facilities are available in both the Sports Centre and in the Science School - please use the adult bathrooms and not the children's facilities, thank you.
- Luggage may be left at Registration during the event.
- A Map of the site and also Assembly points in the case of fire, are available on the event webpage.
- For first aid support, please notify the ASE Staff at the Registration desk in the first instance.
- Travel & Accommodation
- Should you require a local stay, please seek your own accommodation.
- The College has a Sports Ground at Beggars Bush where parking for participants will be available a few minutes away at a cost of £1.50 per vehicle. The school minibus will shuttle participants to the main College site where the event takes place (journey time between 7-12 minutes). The minibus will wait by the Sports Ground main reception to board participants starting from 08:00hrs until 09:35 hrs in the morning, and return journeys will start at 15:20hrs. Many local roads have 30 minutes free parking for loading and unloading if required. There is also a pay and display available for a maximum of 5 hours between 09:00 and 17:00 on local roads. Maps and documents are available at the foot of the event webpage.
- The nearest train station is Bristol Temple Meads, which is about 10 minutes by car to Clifton College. Please note that parts of Bristol have a clean air policy - please make further local enquiries if this applies to your vehicle.
- Accessibility & Special Needs
- Is the venue accessible to wheelchairs or those with mobility issues? As a historic estate, many alterations have been completed and new buildings are fully compliant with the most up to date building regulations, ramps and stair-lifts where possible. However, some of Clifton College's historic buildings limit wheelchair accessibility. Delegates should email [email protected] in advance so that awareness is raised to address particular accessibility on a case by case basis.
- Specific dietary requirements will be provided by the venue, as long as there is advance notification at the point of registration - these will be passed to the venue's caterers.
- Networking & Sessions
- All sessions have a maximum of 24 (some less if requested by presenters) and will be occupied on a first-come, first-served basis. All sessions are of 55 minutes duration, in science laboratories with data projection and audio visual equipment provided.
- No sessions will be recorded.
- Presenters will be asked to upload their resources to the Sched link - please click on each session link after the event to download the relevant resources.
- 6. Exhibitors may set up between 2pm and 5pm on Thursday 2nd July, or from 7.45am on Friday 3rd July.
